The pliers comprise of two sections (1,2) having corresponding jaws (4) connected on a pivot point (3). The plier handles (6), provided with a cross point (7) for spreading the handles, are connected to the pivot point. A center piece (5) is formed between the handle and pivot point of each plier section. The jaws of the pliers can be adjusted by adjusting the pivot point.
