The seat is connected with upper ends of two levers, and lower ends of both the levers are connected with a horizontally movable part of a linear guidance unit (24). The upper ends are placed in a center portion of the seat. The lower ends of both the levers move perpendicular to a space axis of a folding bed for moving the seat along the axis such that a space is created underneath the seat. An independent claim is also included for a machining device with a workpiece seat.
