<p>The device (18) for evaluating strain is provided with impact discrimination means. It comprises at least two strain sensors (20, 22) which are stacked according to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. Each sensor (20, 22) is of a binary variety, i.e. indicates when the strain undergone exceeds a predetermined threshold which is proper to the sensor (20, 22).
