<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of easily performing bacteria elimination processing. <P>SOLUTION: Power supply is laid in OFF state. Whether a back light button 9 is pressed or not is determined. When it is confirmed that the back light button 9 is pressed and a display part 3 is in a closed position, a back light 7a is lighted to start a bacteria elimination mode. When the back light 7a is lighted, the light from the back light 7a is passed through the glass of a liquid crystal display device 7, and radiated to the upper surface 5 of a body opposed thereto, a keyboard 4, and a pointing device 6. Each of the upper surface 5, the keyboard 4 and the pointing device 6 is coated with a photocatalyst, and bacteria elimination is performed in reaction to the light from the back light 7a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
