<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for preventing faulty machining that is caused by heat generated in machining in a laser beam machine. <P>SOLUTION: The system for preventing faulty machining is used in a laser beam machine provided with a nesting preparing means for laser beam machining. Based on prepared nesting data of products K<SB>1</SB>-K<SB>5</SB>, a heat-affected area HB defined as an area affected by heat generated in machining is set around a piercing hole formed at a machining start point and on both side areas along a machining path.
