PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a microcapsule for an electrophoresis display whose contrast reduction can be suppressed even when being left under the condition of high temperature and high humidity. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the microcapsule for the electrophoresis display includes a step for making the microcapsule formed by encapsulating electrophoretic fine particles and a solvent in a shell body coexist with an ion-exchange resin in an aqueous medium.
