PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescence display device which can prevent an electrode power supply line from being damaged or peeled off and smoothly discharge gas produced from an insulating layer containing an organic substance, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The electroluminescence display device is provided with: a display area 200 in which pixels each having a 1st electrode layer 210, a 2nd electrode layer 400 and an organic electroluminescence part 230 are formed on a substrate; the electrode power supply line 410 which supplies electric power to electrodes of the display area 200; an insulating layer 180 which is formed on the electrode power supply line 410 and has at least one via hole 182 and contains an organic substance; and an auxiliary conductive layer 411 which is formed on the insulating layer 180 including the via hole 182. The electrode power supply line 410 and 2nd electrode layer 400 are electrically coupled by the via hole 182 through the auxiliary conductive layer 411 and the auxiliary conductive layer 411 on the insulating layer 180 has at least one through part 412.
