PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an (printer) ink waste liquid absorbent which is homogeneous, accurate, and inexpensive, has high ink absorbency, can be cut in the shape of a set site in a printer and then used, does not cause such a fuzzing phenomenon as that of felt, does not fall fuzzes and the like, and does not affect the functions of a printer. SOLUTION: This ink waste liquid absorbent is characterized by subjecting a flexible urethane foam produced from foaming raw materials comprising a polyol, an isocyanate, a catalyst and a foaming agent to a dipping treatment using a surfactant.
