PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method with which the same result of plotting can be obtained from the same image data while improving image processing efficiency. SOLUTION: In an image processing method for performing image converting processing for converting input data described in a page description language and outputting the data as image data to an image output device, when rotation processing of image data is required in the case of outputting the input data to the image output device as image data, while considering a rotation direction of the image data, conversion processing is performed for converting input data which are designated with real number coordinates into image data of integer coordinates.
