CONTENTS DISTRIBUTING SYSTEM, FAULT DETECTION METHOD, FAULT DETECTION PROGRAM, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect occurrence of data mismatch between databases of an application system and a sub system due to a transaction fault in a distributed system, to which no two-phase commitment can be applied, to specify a data mismatch part, and to correct the mismatched data for keeping the data consistency of the system as a whole. SOLUTION: This contents distribution system distributes contents such as video images on a network by means of application of the main system and the sub system called by this application for performing individual processing. The main system is provided with an individual processing calling means for calling individual processing carried out by the application from the sub system; a notification accumulating means accumulating the start notification and end notification of the individual processing called by the individual processing calling means; and a fault determination means for determining a fault in the individual processing, based on the start notification and the end notification of the individual processing accumulated in the notification accumulation means.
