PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a size, a background color or motion of a screen saver image to be arbitrarily changed by a simple operation for easily creating a truly original screen saver image in an optical disk player. SOLUTION: Original data for the screen saver image and contents of a text file storing parameters of the background color, motion and size of the image are read from a DVD (S5).
