PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver capable of receiving television broadcast programs that improves the ease of use by using electronic program guide information. SOLUTION: A program guide extract section 17 receives the electronic program guide information from the Internet or the like and extracts guide information of a program during reception at present as present program guide information. When an end time described in the present program guide information comes, a program information analysis section 19 provides an output of it to an output control section 21. The output control section 21 switches an operation mode of a mobile phone 1 from a reception mode of a television program into a telephone mode and displays a standby display on an LCD 31.
