DETERIORATION DIAGNOSIS METHOD OF THYRISTOR MODULE AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnosis method of a thyristor module and its device capable of determining the deterioration state of each thyristor unit including a thyristor element and circuit elements connected in parallel thereto such as a capacitor or a resistance without separating the thyristor element from the circuit. SOLUTION: This deterioration diagnosis method of the thyristor module is characterized by applying a prescribed voltage to both ends of the thyristor module formed by connecting in series a plurality of thyristor units having respectively the circuit elements connected in parallel to the thyristor element, measuring a shared voltage of each thyristor unit, and diagnosing deterioration based on a deviation of measured values.
