PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vary an MI (Mechanical Index) value in ultrasonic diagnostic equipment and, and even if the MI value is varied, retain image sensitivity. SOLUTION: When the MI value is varied as shown in a code 10, a waveform length T'24 is newly found for retaining the image sensitivity. A transmission waveform is generated according to transmission conditions 28 including it. When the transmission conditions 28 are changed, a coefficient string 32 for pulse compression is also newly found.
