Each of the detection circuits (36a, 36d, 36f, 36h) detects a key signal superimposed on the RF signal received by an RF reception unit (33) such as a horizontal synchronization signal, a vertical synchronization signal, a capsule ID, a WB coefficient, and error information. According to the detection result, each of the judgment circuits (36b, 36c, 36e, 36g, 36i) judges whether the image is valid/invalid. Furthermore, according to the judgment result, a recording enabled/disabled judgment unit (36k) judges whether recording to a storage unit (35) is enabled. Thus, when a failure occurs, it is possible to stop recording of the image information received by the reception unit (3), thereby preventing mixture of a defective image, preventing expansion of the image recording size, and recording a necessary image within a predetermined inspection time.
