<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for inkjet recording having a transparent ink receiving layer which improves the coating film transparence of the ink receiving layer formed of silica particulates obtained by condensation of an active silicic acid and having an average particle size of 1 μm or less and which is suitable for preparation of a transparency used for a projecting device such as OHP or formation of a medical image suited for showing an image of the inside of a human body obtained by a medical diagnosis. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of the sheet for inkjet recording has a process wherein silica sol containing the silica particulates which have the average particle size of 1 μm or less and of which the capacity of pores having a pore size of 100 nm or less is 0.4-1.5 mL/g is prepared by condensing the active silicic acid, a process wherein the electrical conductivity of the silica sol is prepared to be 1 mS or less, a process wherein a coating solution for forming the ink receiving layer is prepared by mixing a binder in the silica sol, a process wherein the coating solution is applied on a substrate and dried to form the ink receiving layer and a process wherein an aqueous solution containing a cationic compound is applied with impregnation on the ink receiving layer and dried. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
