<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time for manufacture of a booster by reducing the number of parts required for installing a master cylinder onto a booster casing. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with the booster 1 composed of a cover 12 and a cylinder 10, and a center hole 8 is formed in the cylinder. The master cylinder 5 is provided with a main body 14, and it is partly inserted into the booster through the center hole. The master cylinder is fixed to the cylinder in the booster as a hollow shaft 9 is plastically deformed. The hollow shaft defines the boundary of the center hole, and is extended outward of an enclosure. The hollow shaft is inserted to at least one orifice formed in the outside surface of the main body of the master cylinder. The cylinder is further provided with a flat surface enclosing the center hole. A flange 6 is radially extended outward of the main body of the master cylinder, and it is more or less flatly hit to the flat surface of the cylinder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
