PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new angiostatin-converting enzyme having conversion selectivity, to provide a plasma serine protease-activating agent containing the enzyme as an active ingredient, and to provide a method for producing a new plasminogen fragment with the enzyme.

SOLUTION: This enzyme having an amino acid sequence comprising specific sequences and producing an angiostatin-like plasminogen fragment from plasminogen as a substrate. The plasma serine protease-activating agent containing the enzyme as an active ingredient. And the method for producing various active fragments from the plasminogen with the enzyme.
