<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a lithium-ion secondary battery with a porous film with excellent heat resistance and resistance to swelling. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the electrode contains a process of coating paste for a porous film consisting of an inorganic oxide filler and a binder with water as a dispersant on the surface of an electrode, and drying it to form a porous film.
