<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-theft device for a vehicle having a radio communication identification function that mainly detects a base station existing in a communication range and stores an identification code of the base station, when the identification code of the base station is changed, mainly informs a vehicle owner of it to make the vehicle owner grasp the vehicle state instantly, and when an abnormal situation occurs in the vehicle, mainly informs the vehicle owner of it to make the vehicle owner grasp the vehicle state instantly. <P>SOLUTION: This device has a vehicle mounted anti-theft host and a radio communication device, and uses the identification code of the base station of a radio communication system as an anti-theft mechanism. The radio communication device obtains and stores a set of identification codes of the base station from a radio broadcast of the base station. When the vehicle mounted anti-theft host is set in anti-theft mode and the set of identification codes of the base station stored by the radio communication device, the radio communication device issues an abnormal signal and transmits it to the vehicle mounted anti-theft host, the vehicle mounted anti-theft host detects it with a detector, transmits a warning signal to a warning device, and transmits the warning signal through the radio communication device to the vehicle owner, thereby informing the vehicle owner of occurrence of abnormality in the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
