<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a searching method of a laying cable which can search accurately a laying route of the cable, even when a laid cable is disturbed by an obstacle, such as walls, floors, etc. and cannot be observed visually. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of IC tags 14 to which recorded identification information 19, respectively at arbitrary positions of the cable 12 to be laid, are mounted at suitable spacings. A radio wave is sent from an exterior to the cable 12 laid, in a state such that the cable 12 cannot be visually observed from the exterior, and the laying route of the cable is traced, while receiving a response signal from the IC tag 14. When the response signal of the IC tag is received while moving a transmitter along the laying place of the cable in a state with the cable being, for example, laid in the interior of a wall, and under floor, etc. and being unable to be observed visually from the exterior, laying route of the cable can be detected accurately. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
