<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document preparation support method and a document preparation support program, for easily acquiring necessary information according to the kind of a document to be prepared to efficiently prepare the document. <P>SOLUTION: A document preparation support server 20 transmits a template document embedded with a section identifier 715 to a user terminal so as to display it on a first screen 710 of a display screen 700 displayed on a user terminal. The document preparation support server 20 acquires the section identifier 715 displayed on the first screen 710 of the user terminal, and embedded in the template document during editing work by a user.
