FOUR-LAYER SEGMENT SEQUENTIALLY BONDED STATOR COIL, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-layer sequentially bonded stator coil easily operatable at a higher voltage and superior in manufacturability. SOLUTION: A large segment has a foot 233 inserted into a first layer S1 of a first slot and a foot 234 inserted into a fourth layer S4 of a tenth slot separated from the first slot at a distance of one magnetic pole pitch. A small segment has a foot 237 inserted into a second layer S2 of the first slot and a foot 238 inserted into a third layer S3 of a tenth slot separated from the first slot at a distance of one magnetic pole pitch. The same potential is applied to the large and small segments. Thus, since the large and small segments can be connected in parallel, the high-voltage four layer segment sequentially bonded stator coil can be manufactured simply. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
