PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully utilize a newly uploaded digital image, by performing photographing with the use of a digital camera or a portable telephone with a camera. SOLUTION: A network system includes a digital image input device for photographing a digital image; a digital image managing and preserving device for managing/preserving the digital image; and a digital image output device for outputting the digital image. The network system preserves the digital image in the digital image managing/preserving device, and then, utilizes the digital image by reproducing, sharing it with others or by printing. The network system includes a determining means for determining that the new digital image is preserved in the digital image managing/preserving device; a reporting means for reporting a determination result by the determining means; and a means for utilizing the digital image from a desired device.
