PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold which shortens a molding cycle in the molding of an injection resin lens and a method for the mold. SOLUTION: By forming a temperature adjustment circuit 21 for cooling a cavity insert different from a temperature adjustment circuit 20 for cooling a mold plate part in the product part cavity insert 19 of the injection resin molding mold, when a resin is solidified, the cavity insert is cooled efficiently, stably, and uniformly to suppress sinking, molding shrinkage, residual stress, and warpage and to shorten the molding cycle, improving productivity and a production capacity.
