PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor equipped with mounting leg wherein upon a mounting leg being mounted on a capacitor equipped with a metal case, mounting directions of an external terminal and the mounting leg can be defined without permitting the capacitor to rotate, and the mounting leg is simplified in its constitution to obtain enough fixing strength and a working method is simplified. SOLUTION: The mounting leg including a cutout in one end thereof and a flange is fitted to the surrounding of a case in which a capacitor element is accommodated, and a heat contraction sleeve is covered around the cutout part and heat-shrunk to fix the mounting leg and the capacitor.
