PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition wall body which is capable of setting the strength adaptable for a predetermined height and of setting the sufficient mounting/fixing strength of the surface without increasing the thickness of a panel, and is excellent in a fire-resistant property and a sound insulation property. SOLUTION: The strength of the whole is improved without increasing the thickness of the panel 1 by incorporating a reinforcing panel 7 in which a lightweight and thin panel 1 is reinforced firmly by a reinforcing stud 5 in a manner of imparting a good workability. The reinforcing panel and the fibrous member 13 which is formed around a column-like body 11, being in contact with the inner surface of a board member 14, are interposed in an overlapping manner between the opposing board members 14 whereby the fire-resistant property and the sound insulation property are improved. By controlling the arrangement positions of the reinforcing panel and the fibrous member 13, an air layer between the column-like body 11 and the opposing reinforcing panel is adjusted to control the sound insulation property. By choosing the distance between the reinforcing stud 5 and the column-like body 11 in a longitudinal direction of the partition wall body 10, both ends of the board member 14 in a standardized size are fixed properly and firmly and a separate outside loading object is fixed surely and safely.
