PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolving frame for a construction machine, which achieves weight reduction of the entire body thereof while ensuring sufficient strength, improves its assembly performance, and minimizes temperature rise by releasing heat of a floor plate arrangement section to the outside, to thereby improve the working environment of the construction machine. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the revolving frame, a partition member 23 arranged on a bottom plate 13 at a longitudinal intermediate location so as to extend rightward and leftward, is formed like a box structure so as to define a space portion 26 with respect to the bottom plate 13. Therefore by virtue of the box structure, the strength of the revolving frame 11 can be improved. Further since the interior of the box structure is the space portion 26, the weight of the frame is reduced. Furthermore by forming a vent hole 29 in a partition plate 24 of the partition member 23, and a vent hole 30 in a right rear vertical plate 17, heat generated by a control valve 43 can be relieved from the vent hole 29 via the space portion 26 and the vent hole 30 to the outside.
