PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Japanese paper reinforcing agent imparting excellent dry paper strengthening and wet paper strengthening properties by a processing method such as a spraying treatment, an impregnation treatment, a brush treatment or a roller coater treatment and to provide master paper for a heat-sensitive stencil printer having excellent adhesiveness when wetted and excellent printing resistance without causing bleeding of printed letters when continuous printing is carried out by providing a resin-processed ultrathin Japanese paper subjected to lamination processing with a film represented by a polyester film. SOLUTION: The Japanese paper reinforcing agent is characterized as using an aqueous polyurethane resin composition composed of a polyurethane resin (X) having a glass transition temperature within the range of 30-100°C and a polyurethane resin (Y) having a glass transition temperature within the range of -50 to 30°C (however, the temperature is <30°C).
