PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device capable of rain or washer liquid wiped up to an automatic stop position by a wiper blade from flowing down into a wiping range and polluting the wiping range when the wiper blade is inverted and stored at the automatic stop position. SOLUTION: In a rear wiper 10, a wiper blade 20 is separated from a rear glass 16 by a guide roller 28 and a guide projection 34 during the inversion at the automatic stop position 24 when the wiper blade 20 performs the continuous reciprocal turning and wiping operation. Rain 40 wiped up to an automatic stop 24 by the wiper blade 20 flows downward of the wiper blade 20 from a space formed between the wiper blade 20 and the rear glass 16, and is inverted by the automatic stop 24 by the automatic stop 24 and re-wiped by the wiper blade 20 in contact with the rear glass 16 again.
