PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure excellent in convenience and holding an agent for retaining freshness of cut flowers, especially a structure holding an agent for retaining freshness of cut flowers, wherein the agent for retaining the freshness of cut flowers is released for a long time a preferable amount into flower arrangement water when added in flower arrangement water while the agent floats in the flower arrangement water. SOLUTION: A structure holding an agent for retaining the freshness of cut flowers is provided, wherein an assembly of fibers containing an agent for retaining the freshness of cut flowers is wound up so as to have a cylindrical form with a water-resistant film, and wherein the film preferably has a plurality of pinholes.
