MEDICINE SAFETY TESTING METHOD AND MEDICINE SAFETY TESTING SYSTEM

A medicine safety testing method and system for testing the safety of a medicine in a measurement state simulating an invivo environment with high reliability of risk evaluation of the medicine. In the method, a cell composed of an HERG ion channel and its homologue is used, and a sensor having measurement electrodes is used. The method comprises (A) a step of measuring the electrical responses of the sensors in contact with a control solution not containing the medicine under test, (B) a step of measuring the electrical responses of the sensors in contact with a measurement solution containing the medicine, and (C) a step of again measuring the electrical responses of the sensors in contact with the control solution not containing the medicine after step B1. The voltage signals measured at steps A and C are compared, and the risk of the medicine is judged from the comparison result.
