<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image carrier unit for easily reducing relative shift (color shift) due to a plurality of image carriers. <P>SOLUTION: The image carrier unit includes the image carrier, a rotary shaft supporting a rotation center of the image carrier, a flange member for holding the image carrier on the rotary shaft, and a coupling member provided on the end of the rotary shaft receiving drive force of an image forming apparatus body. The flange member is rotated only on the rotary shaft and one drive point.
