<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading system for a radio tag preventing leak of information stored in a radio tag and having excellent flexibility. <P>SOLUTION: This reading system consists of a tag information reader 1, the radio tag 5 and a database processing part 8. When receiving an identification code and address information issued from the radio tag 5, the tag information reader 1 transmits the identification code to the database processing part 8 corresponding to the address information via a wide area network 7.
