<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium and a method for determining an information alteration of the information recording medium capable of determining whether data recorded in an information medium such as an IC tag, an RFID tag are altered by breakage, falsification, and forgery without making an inquiry to a host computer. <P>SOLUTION: An ID item 3, an ID content 4, and a two-dimensional code 5 are indicated on the surface 2 of a two-dimensionally coded RFID label 1, and an RFID tag 6 is incorporated in the RFID label. The two-dimensional code 5 is determined from code information calculated by a predetermined method based on the ID content 4 of a determination item 7 used for determining whether the data are altered or not. At the time of the determination, code information newly calculated by a predetermined method using data in the memory of the RFID tag 6 and the code information read from the two-dimensional code 5 are compared/collated so as to determine whether an information alteration has been made or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
