<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding an annular member which is scarcely affected by a die well and can improve the quality of a tire by preventing the contraction, deformation, etc., of the molded annular member and an apparatus for the method. <P>SOLUTION: In the head 1a of an extruder 1, a die constituting member 5 is set on the periphery of an extrusion opening 4. In the die constituting member 5, in order to lead two guide members 7a and 7b set vertically on both sides of the extrusion opening 4 on a die plate 6 and a rubber-like elastic material W extruded from the extrusion opening 4 to the terminal part of one of the guide members 7a and 7b upward, a die head 8 having a prescribed extrusion shape is fixed to an upper terminal part. An extrusion processing part 8a for forming part of the cross-sectional shape of the annular member Q is formed in the die head 8.
