PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle system for inhibiting, more surely than a conventional system, an occupant at a prescribed position in a vehicle from performing an operation of an on-vehicle device. SOLUTION: This car navigation system 10 is provided with a car navigation device 20 mounted on the vehicle and a remote controller 30 for transmitting a command signal according to the operation of a user to the car navigation device 20. The car navigation device 20 has signal receiving parts 22 and 23 for receiving the command signal transmitted by the remove controller 30, communication angle calculating part and communication distance calculating part for acquiring an existing position of the remote controller 30 in relation to the car navigation device 20 based on reception time when the signal receiving parts 22 and 23 receive the command signal, and an operation judging part for judging whether or not the operation according to the command signal received by the signal receiving parts 22 and 23 is performed based on the existing position acquired by the communication angle calculating part and communication distance calculating part.
