PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an armature for reducing the number of components and a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the armature has a connecting process for sequentially connecting a winding to a connecting claw of a segment 13, bridging the winding to the adjacent wire connecting claw (a segment 14) and continuously forming a short wire 16, a winding process for treating a termination of the connecting process as a start of winding and forming a main winding 9, and a cutting process for cutting an unnecessary section 19 bridged to the adjacent connecting claw (the segment 14) by the connecting process after the winding process.
