PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an endless metal belt that allows for efficient lamination and solution treatment without an useless waiting time and the need for a space. SOLUTION: The ends of a metallic thin plate 1 are welded to each other to form a cylindrical drum 2. This is subjected to solution treatment and then cut to produce ring-shaped metallic strips 3. Several types of metallic ring groups 4 having different circumferential lengths are formed by rolling the ring-shaped metallic strips 3 to have a predetermined length by a rolling mill. When this metallic ring group 4 is defined as a set of metallic rings, each of four rolling mills produces each set of the metallic ring 4. Next, the metallic ring 4 is solid-solved by heating to recrystallize a composition destroyed by rolling, and subjected to solution treatment by cooling. Then, each metallic ring 4 is corrected in circumferential length by delaminating, aged in the state of a relaminated body 6, and improved in a surface hardness by nitriding.
