BAKED AND MODIFIED CARBONIZED MATERIAL, METHOD FOR IMPROVING ENVIRONMENT IN BUILDING ROOM USING IT, SPACE ENVIRONMENT IMPROVING MATERIAL AND FUNCTIONAL WOODY MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baked carbonized material such as charcoal, bamboo charcoal and the like having a moisture absorbing and desorbing function, an electromagnetic wave absorbing function and the like by improving the electrical characteristics of the baked carbonized material and contributing to the improvement of a surrounding oxidizing atmosphere and the improvement of a low frequency transmitting state in space environment and to provide its utilizing technology. SOLUTION: A baked and modified carbonized material is produced by impregnating a carbon carrier being a highly functional carbonized material with a functional substance being constituted with a polyhydric phenol. The polyhydric phenol is constituted with a dihydric phenol and/or a trihydric phenol. The electrical resistivity of the highly functional carbonized material is 10Ωcm or less.
