<p>A simple design support structure for a construction using panels, e.g. for building a greenhouse, has the edges of the panels (2), or glass panes, gripped between pairs of clamping strips (3, 6) linked by tensioning fasteners (9). The spacing of the strips is similar to the panel thickness and one end of each fastener is attached to a profiled inner strip (10) using interlocking dovetail profiles to form a step (10) to locate the edges of the panels. A screw fastener (14) threaded into one strip secures the fitting. The system is made of plastic components for low thermal conduction.</p> |
