A down tube assembly for dispensing liquid from an interior of a drum, the assembly including a down tube configured to operably couple an access opening included on an upper wall of the drum, the down tube extending into the interior of the drum. The assembly further including an extension tube configured to operably couple the down tube, the extension tube extendable along a longitudinal axis of the extension tube between extended and compressed states, the extension tube biased to the extended state such that a lower end of the extension tube extends toward a bottom wall of the drum when the down tube is placed into the drum.
