PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat load measuring device capable of reducing the number of part items, capable of simplifying configuration, and capable of reducing a cost, and an occupant protection system using the same. SOLUTION: A sensor connecting connector 7 connected detachably to a sensor side connector 5 of a load sensor 3 is integrated together with an ECU 9 of the occupant protection device 8. That is, the ECU 9 is built in the seat load measuring device 1. A harness for connecting the sensor connecting connector 7 and the ECU 9 is not required thereby. Consequently, the number of harnesses is able to be reduced by one, and the configuration of the seat load measuring device 1 is simplified thereby, and the cost is able to be reduced thereby. Clips for fixing the unnecessary harness is able to be also unnecessary. Furthermore, the ECU 9 is able to be fixed without using a dedicated bracket, by connecting the sensor connecting connector 7 to the sensor side connector 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
