PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress granularity in a printed image without using an ink in a light color corresponding to an added ink in a specific color when the ink in the specific color is used in addition to inks of primary colors in a printer. SOLUTION: All the data of a B ink for representing a blue hue is replaced with a combination of Lm, Lc inks in light colors at a highlight portion close to a white color by a density decomposition processing and a part of the data of the B ink at a portion closer to a blue color is replaced with the combination of Lm, Lc inks in the light colors. In the case where the B ink in a specific color except the inks of primary colors (C, M, Y, K, Lc, Lm) is used, as the highlight portion of the ink in the specific color is represented by using two inks in the light colors, it is possible to suppress the granularity without using a light color ink corresponding to the ink in the specific color.
