HINGE DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE USING HINGE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge device and a small-sized electronic device using the hinge device, lowering the production and quality cost of the device even if various functions are added, and also exhibiting a latch-less function even if a locking mechanism exposed to the respective surfaces of the body and a lid are eliminated.

SOLUTION: This hinge device connects the body and the lid to be rotated in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction. The hinge device is composed of a fitting member and a support member which are fitted to either the body or the lid; a horizontal shaft member fitted to the fitting member and provided with a locking groove in the outer periphery; a shaft member fitted to the support member, provided with an engagement groove in the outer periphery and intersecting perpendicularly to the horizontal shaft member; a bracket member fitted to the shaft member intersecting perpendicularly to the horizontal shaft member to rotate the body and the lid in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction; and a regulating means having a regulating pin fitted to either the locking groove or the engagement groove.
