<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device capable of widening the angle of a scanning range by a radar beam without enlarging a radar device body. <P>SOLUTION: The radar device is equipped with a transmitting/receiving antennal 200 for irradiating the radar beam through a radome 410 toward another vehicle B traveling in the front or in the periphery of own vehicle A and receiving a reflected wave by another vehicle A, an inter-vehicle distance calculation part 700 for measuring the inter-vehicle distance to another vehicle A, and a rocking angle control part 600 for controlling a rocking angle of the transmitting/receiving antennal 200. The thickness dimension of a radome body constituting the radome 410 is set so that the irradiation angle of the radar beam irradiated from the transmitting/receiving antennal 200 becomes a wide angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
