LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel formed by sealing a liquid crystal material between opposed substrates after dripping the liquid crystal material on the substrates and a manufacturing method thereof, and to prevent a sealing defect by uniformly distributing spacers over the entire liquid crystal panel when the liquid crystal is sealed between the substrates by a vacuum dripping method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes: a 1st sealing material coating stage of coating the surface of at least one of a pair of substrates with a 1st sealing material in a closed frame shape; a 2nd sealing material coating stage of coating the outer side of the 1st sealing material with a 2nd sealing material in a closed frame shape; a liquid crystal supply stage of supplying a liquid crystal material onto the surface surrounded with the 1st sealing material; a liquid crystal layer forming stage of forming a liquid crystal layer between the pair of substrates by stacking the pair of substrates one over the other oppositely to each other under reduced pressure and putting them back into an atmospheric pressure state; and a sealing material curing stage of curing the 1st and 2nd sealing materials by irradiating the 1st and 2nd sealing material with light.
