PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge in which the cartridge main body for storing a disk is made thin, backlash is eliminated from the disk, and dust is prevented from adhering to the disk. SOLUTION: The disk cartridge comprises: the cartridge main body in which the disk having 1st and 2nd sides is arranged to be rotatable, and an opening part which is arranged on the bottom part of the disk storage part with the 1st side exposed to the outside and chucks the disk, and an opening part for a head for performing either reproduction or recording to the 2nd side are included; two shutters 21, 22 which open or close the chucking and the head opening part to the outside and are supported so as to be movable between the disk side and the bottom part of the disk storage part and have a hole correspondingly to the center hole of the disk in the closed state; and a disk holding part 2 for holding the disk on the shutter 22 when the shutters close the chuck opening part and the head opening part.
