PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 2-port valve which can gently release a flow passage extending between two port parts without the occurrence of a rapid flow rate change in a way that a valve seat is released in stages by phasedly driving a valve member by two pistons. SOLUTION: A first piston 24 for initial release, a sleeve 35 to stop the first piston 24 in an initial release position, and a second piston 37 slidably situated in the sleeve 35 and coupled to a valve shaft 11 extending from the valve member 4 are situated in a piston chamber 23 of a cylinder part 2 for driving the valve member 4. At the early stage of the valve member 4, the valve member 4 is slightly released by driving the second piston 37 to an initial release position by the first piston 24 and thereafter, the valve member 4 is moved to a full opening position by independently driving the second piston 37.
