PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin cosmetic which stably contains an amine and exhibits excellent feelings of use. SOLUTION: The skin cosmetic comprises (A) a polysaccharide or a polysaccharide derivative whose hydrogen atoms in hydroxy groups are partially or wholly replaced by the group (a) represented by general formula (1): -E<SP>1</SP>-(OA)<SB>n</SB>-E<SP>2</SP>-R [wherein E<SP>1</SP>is a 1-6C bivalent saturated hydrocarbon group optionally substituted with a hydroxy group or an oxo group; n is a numerical value of 8-300; n pieces of A's are the same or different and are each a 1-6C bivalent saturated hydrocarbon group; E<SP>2</SP>is an ether linkage or an oxycarbonyl group; R is a 4-30C alkyl group optionally substituted with a hydroxy group] and (B) the amine or an acid addition salt thereof.
